Remy Miller was born in Connecticut and until the age of 22 lived in various
Northeastern states. He earned a BFA in Painting from the University of Connecticut
in 1981 and the following year moved to Northwest Ohio to attend Bowling Green
State University. Earning an MFA in Painting in 1984, Miller taught as an
adjunct and sabbatical replacement at BGSU, St. Olaf College in Northfield,
MN. and The University of Toledo, OH. He has taught at Memphis College of
Art since 1987.
Miller has exhibited his paintings and drawings in local, regional and national
shows since 1981. In 2004, he was an artist-in-residence at the McNamara Foundation
on Westport Island, ME.
