Dr. Wilson has been an active participant and leader in the educational communities of Memphis City and Shelby County for more than 25 years, serving as an art teacher, Supervisor of Art Instruction for Shelby County Schools, and as a school principal.

Recent publications include: 

“CPR Training Manual for Wellness Teachers”, 2005, published by SCS for use by Wellness Teachers; 

“The History of Bolton High School”, 2004, published by SCS. Memphis and Shelby County Public Library;

“SCS K-12 Art Curriculum”, 2003. Published by SCS for use by Art Teachers; 

“Teacher’s Perceptions Toward 21st Century Technology Implementation in the Shelby County Schools”. 

She is also currently working on two historical novels.
